Christiane Heibach (Erfurt),

born 1967, studied German Literature, History and Philosophy in Bamberg, Paris and Heidelberg. She is assistant professor at the Department of Comparative Literary Studies and Media at the University of Erfurt. She wrote her PhD-thesis on literature in the internet and has published articles on media theory and the aesthetics of digital and net-literature. She is currently working on several projects concerning the historical roots of net-literature.
