He studied Comparative Literature, Art History and German Literature in Berlin, Konstanz and Amherst/Massachusetts an is now assistant professor of Comparative Literature at Freie Universität Berlin. "Permutations" was awarded a 'special prize' at the "Pegasus" competition of internet literature. Cramer published essays on net literature (among others) in "Schreibheft" Nr.48 (1996) 1969, lebt in Berlin.
