hyPoem

hyPoem is a dynamic, interactive system of hyperpoetry. It enables the production of poetry which extends the stylistic devices of concrete literature by movement, dynamics, and hyperlinks. The vagueness and uncertainty of poetry is enhanced by the impossibility of an exact layout of the words and characters. These relate to each other via constraints and connection lines. The possibilities of the system range from the animated word machine to the abstract typographical poem. Furthermore, an integrated editor allows the user to turn producer. hyPoem is more than a work of art. It is a public tool with freely available and alterable source code.
